A full day…

Yesterday was a full day. And none of it involved cleaning. Every once in awhile it is important to leave the housework alone and just…enjoy the day.

I decided to take the kids to a park for lunch and a little play time before heading home for nap.

The girls teeter-tottered. But not for long.

Sage…played and ran around.

 

Shayne took Sage down the slides a few times because that’s what Shayne does.

 

And Stormy loves to go down the slide. The advantage to her only weighing 40 lbs is that she flies. SERIOUSLY FLIES when going down the slide.

Shayne wanted to jump off the swing mid-air. So she did (kind of). Sage found a cool little shaded table for her to sit and finish off my drink from Sonic. Then Shayne joined her because she wanted a drink too.

Connor entertained himself by jumping from one square to the next. It entertained me too.

Paul was able to join us for a little bit before we left. An ever favorite toy at this park is the rope thing. All the big kids love it. Including Paul.

Shayne and Daddy climbed to the very top.

And then it was time to head home for naps.

After nap, I took the kiddos swimming.

I also got to go to dinner with my sisters and no kids later on.

It was so wonderful.

A wonderful, great day.

And now…catch-up on some housework that got completely ignored yesterday…for a few good reasons.
