MY 300TH POST....

What to do? What to do? What to do for my 300th post? How about…a funny things my kids say?

I didn’t think you would mind.

Remember the post from our vacation a funny thing Stormy said that I said I would do someday…here is the day.
Let me set the stage…
We had seen literally 20 peacocks. Have you ever heard a peacock screech? That’s what they do. Well, Stormy kept chasing them so we told her they were going to peck her eyes if she didn’t leave them alone. So…here it is…
“Mommy, you know that bird that pecks your eyes out?”
“Ummm….what Stormy?
“You know those birds that say “AH AH AH” and peck your eyes out if you don’t stop chasing them? It’s trying to get its baby.”
There was a mommy peacock that was trying to get its baby because it had fallen back from the rest of the peacock family.
BTW: The real names of these birds…MALES are peacocks. FEMALES are peahens. Families of peacocks are a muster…because I know you wouldn’t be able to sleep if I didn’t give you that information…

Next funny item…remember when we went out on my father-in-law's boat? Well we also happened to be fishing (of course not me—the other’s). We of course, had bait. BIG, FAT, JUICY, DISGUSTING worms. Stormy came up to me and said…
“ MOM. MOM. THE WORMS ARE SQORMING!!” That means the worms are wiggling in Stormy speak.

And lastly…that same day when we were out on the boat I got extremely burnt. So I was complaining the next day. Stormy was in the bathroom and I was walking in the hallway. Here is what happened…
“Ah man, Mommy hurts!!!”
“Ah man, my butt hurts!!!”
Seriously. Only. Stormy.

I was talking to Shayne and she got an attitude. I said, "Hold up kemo sabi!!" She said, "You mean Princess Tiger Lily."
Do you know what kemo sabi means? I googled it. There are different answers but the one I found the most is trusted friend.

Okay so I have supplied a funny things my kids say post and a lesson in peacocks and the word kemo sabi as well. Don't you feel relieved? You aren't just reading for pleasure around this blog...it comes with lessons too! HA!
