WARNING.WARNING. PHOTOS OF PREGO BELLY POSTING…

So today is Thursday (today is the 30th of September!). Which means another week done in pregnancy for me right now.

This is day number 252 and you're 36 weeks pregnant!
You have 28 days or 4 weeks left, and are 90.0% of the way there.

Um…yikes.

I had my OB appointment today. Weight. If I cursed very much when typing there would be a whole lotta bad words about that right now. But typing curse words isn’t something I do very often. It makes me uncomfortable. I do (regrettably) say them but that’s a whole ‘nother post.

Back to baby…

My blood pressure was 114/72. Baby’s heart-rate was 160BPM. He sounds fantastic! Really, if you have ever had kids you know how reassuring the sound is. If you haven’t had kids, trust me, it is.

TMI WARNING COMING UP. IF YOU GET SQUEAMISH OVER SOME MEDICAL DETAILS PLEASE STOP READING.

Are you still there?

Okay good.

My cerclage comes out next week. Part of today’s appointment involved a strep test. Yeah….not the kind where you have your throat swabbed…it does sort of feel that way though when you are done! HA! Anyways…Dr. M said that my cervix is starting to thin out a little. Which isn’t a huge worry except that the cerclage is holding it shut right now. “It’s a good thing it’s coming out next week,” is what she said to me. The contractions I have been having are apparently doing what they should be doing at this stage of the pregnancy. I told her I would be really surprised if we went to the scheduled induction date. Her response? “Yeah…me too!”

So…this baby will be here anytime after next Thursday. Kind of scary. Kind of exciting. Kind of wonderful. Kind of sad. Kind of so much of so much it’s frightening!

As mentioned in the title…prego pics!

Yes…I do have stretch marks. Lots of them. They are battle scars. I don’t particularly love them or anything. But the reason(s) I have the stretch marks are so worth it. So my battle scars are just that. I survived pregnancy after pregnancy. 10 months of battles for each one of the babies. You better believe those scars were earned.
