The afore mentioned…

tweet. That road trips are hard work with a picture of Sage sleeping? Guesses on where I was?

I drove down to my big sister’s house for my niece’s birthday party. It was kind of a surprise for her that I showed. But my road trips are getting limited. Well…as in…they are done now.

I am so happy we (me and the kids) went. Paul was working. It was a nice, little party for my niece. I hung out until dinner time and then we headed to my all time favorite place to eat. Taco Tico. Mmmmmm….so good!

Another nice thing? My brother-in-law. Why? Because he took my son on a tractor ride with him. Because my son loves tractors. Like…I held that over his head for a few days “Uncle Kurt isn’t going to show you any tractors if you don’t…” filled in with whatever I wanted him to do. It worked baby.

If you look really closely you can see Connor sitting right by Kurt. Kurt was actually cutting hay or something like that. I am definitely not in the know with all the farm stuff.

All I know is…my son was so happy. He hates when we have to head home. Not because he doesn’t want to go home. He just doesn’t want to leave Uncle Kurt’s.

So the total of 6 hours spent in the car heading down and then heading home was totally worth it. I got to see my niece on her birthday. I got hang with my big sis. I got to eat Taco Tico. My son got to ride a tractor.

  2. Isn't it nice when the "road trip" is worth every minute?
