Paul…

I may have mentioned a time or two that Paul works for the railroad. There are lots of different jobs with the railroad (obviously). Paul is a conductor. No—not the guy that takes the tickets and yells “ALL ABOOOAAAARRRDDD!” For me to describe how I think it makes sense best is he is conductor that has to deal with lots of different things. Signals, work trains, manifest trains, restrictions, etc. There is so much to it. And every once in a blue moon, he is close enough for us to see him. Such as his birthday. He got force assigned to a work train for few days. Which meant he would be fairly close to home. Not the usual road trips where he is gone for a couple of days. ANYWAYS—we did go see him.

Can you see him in there?

Yeah—me neither. How about this?

I can’t even explain to you how happy it makes the kids to see Daddy at work. They don’t get to very often. And Sage was staring in awe of the train and her Daddy. Stormy was worried Daddy would get in trouble for getting off of the train. Connor just kept asking about the train. And Daddy’s radio. And the train.

  1. How exciting for the kids! A lot of children never get to see their parents at work!
