Wow. My second-grade kid did great on her first day. It was only a half day. She was only gone for 3 hours. But she said she had fun. She was super excited that she got to have a recess.

So Thursday August 13th was a big day for us. Yep-we had to get up early. Why? It was Shayne's first day of 2nd grade. CRAZY that I have a second grader.
