Part II of our first day of vacation...6.15.2009

For the second part of our very long day we went to the botanical garden in Omaha. You can see these big trains up on the hill as you are pulling though Omaha. So of course, we checked them out. The botanical garden just happens to be what is at the bottom of the hundred steps that lead up to these trains.And no...Paul does not work for UP (Union Pacific). Some very nice lady offered to take a family picture for us. Not too bad. It was really bright out...as you can tell in most of the pictures!I just love this picture! The botanical garden also has a really cool miniature train exhibit.

Pretty cool sculptures are dotted through-out...

We headed home after this. So a long great first day of vacation. It was so gorgeous out. It was spent with family. Perfect right?
