So as mentioned I had more to show and tell... We did take the train ride around the zoo. Just because it was fairly inexpensive and...Paul loves steam engines as this train was. It was really cool. So what did the kids think about it?
They loved it. Sage was trying to get her brother's hair (she has a hair thing you know). Connor was more excited about the train than the animals we were seeing. Shayne was taking it all in (like she usually does). And Stormy...was sitting like a lady.
Sage did nap in the stroller for quite a bit. Isn't it sweet?
The Henry Doorly Zoo has a really cool aquarium. You walk through it. It was hard to get a great picture because it's dark down there and if you use your flash-you get the flashback reflection in the glass. So here are just a couple...
Paul and the kids thought the sharks were really cool. I thought the turtle putting his butt up was funny myself.
The Zoo also has a really wonderful butterfly exhibit. I didn't get to go in because no strollers and Sage was napping so I didn't want to take her out.

The giraffes were kind of hard to get a good picture of. I (gasp) forgot my good lens at home so we just had to make do with what we had. Shayne was totally grossed out at their black tongues.
More of our attempts at a picture of all 4 of our beauties.
We did do the Skylari trip also. Never mind the fact that it squishes your butt out 4 times the size it is. I was holding Sage with one arm and the bar with the other. It was actually really cool but the smell over the rhinos was enough to make you sick.
From the train we got to see the flamingos. I thought they were cool. At the San Diego Zoo (many years ago) you could see them so much better. But it's nice to see they haven't changed much. snort snort.
At the end of our zoo day...Connor's legs were tired. He kept stopping and then tripping over his feet. The girls were exhausted. I was thrilled with how well they did. So a few last pictures from the zoo...

Awesome pics Debbie!
