Never a dull moment…

Today was Stormy and Connor’s Valentine’s Day parties at school. Yep—both of them at the same time. How am I supposed to be in two rooms at the same time to help party it up with each kid?

Well—seeing as how there is only one of me and two of them it is impossible to be in two different rooms (different sides of the building also) at the same time. So what did I do?

I walked quickly back and forth. And I may be exhausted from all the running around I had to do but it was worth it. They were both very happy to see me in the 10 minute increments.

I always get the same question “How’s it going?” from people in the hallways.

I always reply “Crazy like usual.”

That got me to thinking…when hasn’t it been crazy?

Never. Lucky me. Seriously. I love being a mom. It is the hardest job I have ever had to do…there is so many positions in that one job title it is amazing that anyone voluntarily takes the job at all! And again…I love it. Never a dull moment to say the least!

So if you ask me how’s it going I will probably tell you,

Crazy as usual.

Aren’t I lucky?
