Our first born child has gotten to do way more activities than the other children. That is the advantage to getting to the party first I guess you could say. Now that Stormy is in kindergarten there are doors opening for events for her. And I couldn't be happier for her. We signed her up for a cheer clinic! Which she went to last weekend. And on Friday night (the 18th) she got to go to the high school game and cheer with the big cheerleaders for the first quarter of the game. Stormy was...Stormy. My little walking whirlwind. She kind of had no clue what was going on. Such is Stormy. And it makes me smile just typing that. She makes me CRAZY a lot. She sasses back like no other. She likes to announce when she has passed gas (and asks if you can smell it). She stands up for her brother even if he is being a pain to her. She has the most devilish little smile and laugh you ever did hear. And...she is our Stormy... I digress...
She was disappointed no one came to see her at her one time event (as was I). Her Aunt Carrie did. And although she couldn't see Stormy from where she had to sit, Stormy knew she was there and that mattered. But Stormy managed to have fun. Yeah...like that is an issue for her.
