We went on vacation last week. But instead of one whole week of one place, we split it up into two road trips. So this is the second part. Better?
On Wednesday morning we got up early (with Shayne's friend too) and headed to St. Louis. We got lost on our way to the Zoo--in the bad part of St. Louis--seriously scary (bums under the bridge drinking scary). We finally made it to the zoo on the hottest day of June. SERIOUSLY. We walked around for about 3 hours and spent about $25 on drinks. The kids were great despite the liter of liquid we all sweat out. Enough mental image on that! Wanna see a tad of what we saw?
So after this we went to the hotel (instead of more site seeing) and went swimming...another post.
Man-the suspense is enough to drive you mad isn't it?
