growing pains 4.17.2009

Anyone that knows me knows that I love polka-dots. So when I see a cute sleeper or outfit with polka-dots, it's almost guaranteed that I will get it for Sage. So when she outgrew her last polka-dot sleeper, I was ecstatic that I found another one. Not the same but it's still cute! And it helps that, well you know, she is so stinking cute!

Also-how can you tell when your baby is too big for the little swing? Her feet are hanging off the end! I am having a really hard time with this. You see, she is my last baby. I want her to stay the baby for longer! There are already things she has outgrown that kill me. Her little tubby. I can't carry her around in the sling. She is getting too long for her car-seat.
And yet...she is sitting up a lot better on her own (she can do it. She just prefers not to), she laughs and reaches and rolls and all the other wonderful things that growing up babies are supposed to do. I love seeing these things! So it's a tough situation. Wanting your baby to stay a baby and wanting the baby to grow and learn and do everything they are supposed to. Momma's are pretty lucky getting to see both!
Also-I will continue to put her in her swing until I sell it at the garage sale next month with a tear in my eye!
