4.23.2009~*~*Do you recognize this guy?*~*~*

So as you know, we are in the process of finishing our basement. We haven't got much left. Partly because, we decided to not sheet-rock the ceiling. "What is she talking about?" is probably what you all are thinking right now. We decided to paint the "ceiling" black. So, if you look up when you are in the basement, you will see the plumbing, wiring, posts, etc. But now, they will be black. Weird, right? Not at all. It is a huge money saver. Paul knows this contractor and he told Paul that there are people in $400,000 homes that are doing it that way. Not that we have that kind of house but you know...it helps to know we aren't the only ones doing it. Paul did exactly that yesterday. Painted the ceiling. Black. And he didn't wear a hat. Get ready for this...

He looks like a panda bear. The kids were very confused. And it took Paul about 30 minutes to scrape it all off in the shower!
