Took medicine and feeling sooo much better

So...here I am. I am feeling much better after a day of rest. Paul cleaned for me this morning. And he took care of Sage and Stormy and Connor (you know, except for the nursing the baby part). It was wonderful and it paid off. At least for me. Stormy's feeling better than she was. At four o'clock she asked if she could get dressed. It made me smile. Connor is Connor. His nose is running but no cough and no fever. Shayne is completely over this cold. Lucky girl. Paul hasn't caught it...yet. I hope he doesn't. Because to be honest...he is such a wimp when he is sick. When he is sick, either the illness will kill him or I will because that's how big a baby he is--and very much a hypochondriac. So here's hoping he doesn't get it!
So...I believe I owe some pictures to my little challenge do I not? Well-here they are!

3.24.2009--Paul working on the basement. He is doing an amazing job. This is where it is a blessing that he does know how to do this kind of stuff. I shudder to think how much it would cost us if we had to pay someone for the labor.

3.25.2009 This just amused me. When I said Paul cleaned the house for me today, this is where he thought Connor's dinosaur went. I am smiling and saying "Thank you honey. You didn't have to do all the housework." But I am glad he did. Lord only knows what the house would look like if he hadn't!

Our evening got a little crazy. As it usually does. There is dinner and baths and homework and clean-up and switching laundry (yet again) and the list goes on. First, Shayne took her shower by herself. It is really nice that I have ONE child that is able to do this on her own. Next, I gave Stormy a quick shower/bath. I know she is five and she can do it on her own BUT it always costs us a whole bottle of shampoo and baby soap. Next up is Connor. He climbs in as I am rinsing off Stormy. He started peeing. ugh. Re-wash Stormy and rinse and get her out before he does it again. I get him all cleaned up and holler for Paul to bring me the baby. Connor didn't want to get out. Umm..."Connor remember when Sage peed on you when you were waiting to get in the bath?" He gets out in a hurry. I kind of giggle and give Sage a bath. She smiles like she usually does. Paul gets Connor in PJ's and I am getting Sage dried off on our bed. She is smiling at me and then I realize, she is peeing. On Paul's side of the bed. Thankfully it didn't soak through to the mattress pad. Just the comforter and the sheets. So Paul and I make the bed with fresh sheets. I guess weI will be using a quilt that is two sizes too small for the bed tonight. He will have to find his own blankie! That kind of makes me giggle. So it's back to the real world for me tomorrow. I only get a pass like this...when I am sick. Man am I getting the short end or what? Exactly. Or what. Because when I am healthy and happy...so are my kids and hubby. Doesn't get any better than that!
