a few old things and more new things...3.28.2009

So...3.28.2009---I thought spring was here. I thought I was done with wearing winter coats. I thought I would be safe to put the heavy winter stuff away. I thought wrong.

The Midwest was supposed to get hit with some monstrous storm. WAS SUPPOSED to. Ummm...You'll see what I mean later. On for the next section of this post...

Guess who had a couple of different firsts on 3.28.2009?

Yep-Sage had her first bath in her ducky tub. She wasn't sure about this at first. She is way too long for her little tub. But she still doesn't sit up that great on her own and is too little for the big tub by herself. Shayne had a tub identical to this. She loved it so when I saw this at Target the other night...I couldn't resist. Now if I can keep Stormy out of it, it will be awesome!

Another first for Sage....
HER FIRST TOOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I was nursing her I kept thinking that something was hurting. If you have ever nursed your children you know that even without teeth it hurts when they clamp those little gums together. So I didn't think much of it. Later I was letting Sage chew on my finger. Then I thought, Stormy better not have put anything in her mouth. So I checked. And there it is. The sharp little beginnings of a tooth on the bottom right front tooth. I hope that makes sense. I can't believe she has a tooth!!! I always said I would never nurse a baby that has teeth. BUT, I never thought I would have to consider stopping this early. I don't think I will. Actually, I know I won't. She's not ready to stop and mostly, neither am I. My little baby...with a tooth. She better not bite too hard!!
