Times have certainly changed for Valentine's Day. No more romance-no way. No more needless stuffed animals-who needs it? No more candy-except the kids' which I eat anyways. But no more fun? NO WAY! We had a day full of events!
We all got up late-AWESOME! Paul stopped and got donuts for us. We got ready and went to one of my niece's cheer-leading events. And then...I took the kids to a doll store. The day kind of goes down hill from here. I was supposed to drop Connor off with my sister so I could take my girls and niece to the doll store. That didn't happen. I had to take him. This is a doll store cram packed with doll clothes and porcelain tea sets and expensive dolls. Connor was being a 3-year-old boy and walked over to this doll that was sitting on a chair-on the ground within any kids reach. He picked it up and set it down--as gently as a 3-year-old boy can. I thought the old lady behind the counter was going to stroke! She told me that it was a very expensive doll! I grabbed him, paid for the items and left...embarrassed by my son (yet again). As I am driving, I am getting more agitated. Why should I be embarrassed? That
Then I got to go to Wal-Mart by myself and then to Taco Bell for dinner for my kids. Sounds romantic right?
I did get to spend Valentine's Day with my most loved ones and isn't that the point? I got to watch America's Funniest Videos with Paul before I passed out at 10:30PM. What a day...
I truly hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!

Happy First Valentine's Miss Sage!
And I didn't take a picture of one of the answers...do you know which one?
