A turtle and fun...1.31.2009

There are a lot of pictures I could post for my challenge on the 31st day. It was my big girls' birthday party. We had a lot of fun. I didn't have to squeeze into a suit either! Which made it even better. I missed some of my nieces and nephews that couldn't attend but we will see them all soon! We only had a couple of incidents that aren't normal for a party or in some case make a great party but in this case...I am bummed I didn't get a picture of the broken ceiling tile from the bigger kids bouncing the huge exercise balls up in the air. Also~the Midwest was hit yesterday with a really beautiful day...at least it would have been had the wind not kept knocking the power out at our party location. Imagine a bunch of kids swimming... and the power goes out...and then the lifeguards start yelling "Out of the pool! Out of the pool!" That happened the last twenty minutes of the party so it could have been worse! Our theme was turtles. I made attempted to make a cupcake cake shaped like a turtle...what do you think? Not so turtley (I know that's not a word) but the kids loved it.

I don't post pictures of other people very often but I am sure you are wondering where the rest of our party crew is...and where Sage is right? For your viewing pleasure...

Sage is being held by my best friend...the other photos are our friends and neighbors. I won't post their names though. I do have more of the other kiddos but cannot post every child that was in attendance but please know that I am very thankful that my kids have such great friends. We are very blessed! We hope they all had fun!
